I’m sick at home and unable to go to work today. While i should be resting, the medication doesn’t seem to be helping. So i tot I’ll just do my JUST FOR FUN Tuesday now! This post is gonna be about all the cool stuff I’ve found over the week.
I’m gonna show you some pretty neat stuff, from blogs to a new RSS ticker service.
So firstly with the blogs, I’ll like to start with Li’ll Miss Spooky’s blog, The spooky Science lair.
This blog is done by my my colleague’s daughter, a 7 year old sweet heart, who blogs about spooky stuff. What i find really amazing about this blog is, not only the way its written, but also how she blogs about stuff which scares the daylights out of us when we were kids. From werewolves to ghouls, this little girl really has it going!
Despite being an avid fan of Supernatural and reading Dean Koontz and Dresden Files by Jim butcher, the supernatural intrigues yet scares me. Honesty, saying “bloody Mary” 3 times to a mirror is something i never wanna do. So kodos to this little brave soldier for writing on the stuff that interests her!!
Next, Priscilla shared with me an RSS ticker called Snackr which is pretty cool. Having all ur aggregated RSS feeds being displayed on a ticker is great. (Especially at meetings or lectures where its hard to open up a page without looking too involved in ur laptop)

Lastly, I had to share this. A ranting by Jason Falls from Social Media Explorer is a good read with valid points about his (and mine anyways) frustrations in social media. I’m pretty much tempted to start one myself, I might before leaving for a vacation too!
So that’s pretty much it for JUST FOR FUN tuesday as i feel the medication taking effect now. (About time, makes me feel like a horse…)
I’m gonna share this new development in the Microsoft i’m campaign which uses a fake blog to promote their IM and hotmail tools, pretty cool. Till then…
